It will cut a worktop join ok but I had standard length cutters and to make it cut deep enough I had to cut off the plastic dust covers round the pillars! The dust extraction attachment is pretty weak but it hasn’t broken yet - but I have only used it once. You get what you pay for...

I read a few reviews about this that were negative about the plunge depth. They're true; for real depth you need an extension bit. This is less than £10. You'll be lucky to get a single router bit for that money. As everything else about this router is awesome, just add £10 to the price you're going to pay for the router and you end up with a top notch router with excellent power, reliability, adaptability and usability, for very little money. With the extension bit it'll now have excellent plunge depth too. I'd buy this again in a heart beat. My routers take a good beating, and I believe this is going to turn out to be the best value for money router I've ever bought.
