6) The Price and the Payment

The price of your purchase or product is subject to an additional charge if delivery is not completed within 2 months of order date, due to delays by customer.

Prices listed are in Pounds Sterling and are inclusive of Delivery costs and VAT. Any additional delivery charges or additional costs will be clearly listed on the site. If the product you order is unavailable at the time of purchase we may provide you with a substitute of an equivalent quality and value without notice. 10) Cancellations and Returns
Gardeneco’s cancellation / returns policy:-
 
Should for any reason you not happy with your purchase from us we operate a strict returns policy. Providing you have not used the product, notified us within 7 days of your purchase, we shall refund all monies paid less a charge to cover the cost of carriage, payment processing and restocking.
 
The product must be returned in its original packaging with all of the instructions and parts supplied.
 
If your purchase or the packaging is damaged or found to be faulty within 7 days of purchase, we will of course replace the item at no extra charge or you will be offered a full refund and the item collected. We would add that this is subject to GardenEco being completely satisfied that the item damage has been caused during transit. The delivery note must be signed stating that the item has not "not checked" or similar. This is to ensure that it is faulty workmanship and is not the result of customer abuse or mishandling. This does not affect your statutory rights.
 
Right to Cancel
 
Cancellations before Dispatch

You may cancel your Order up to 48 hours before dispatch. Your order will not be considered cancelled until notification in writing is received at cancellations@gardeneco.co.uk and acknowledged by us.
 
What if a product is out of stock?
On the rare occasions when an item is ordered and is out of stock, we will notify you as soon as possible. We will endeavour to find a suitable replacement at your approval.
 
If this is not possible, we will reimburse your payment in full.
 
Back Orders
 
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be telephoned with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
 
Cancellations after Dispatch
If you decide to cancel an order after the product(s) have been to you please email us at cancellations@gardeneco.co.uk. If the delivery has left we may, at our discretion, charge you for the return carriage of those goods. This will be deducted from any refund issued.
 
We recommend that you check the status of your order before you request a cancellation.
 
Change of Mind Returns (Cooling Off Period)
You may return any delivered product(s) you have purchased within 7 working days after day of delivery for any reason to do so you must notify us in writing via email to cancellations@gardeneco.co.uk or via the postal system.
 
All returned products must be returned in the original packaging in the condition they were delivered, if you have opened the package you must have done so without damaging or marking the product. All items are to be returned within 30 days of cancellation. On there return all products will be thoroughly checked and we reserve the right to only offer partial refund should the item or the packaging be damaged making it unsalable as a new item. For parcel returns you will be expected to return at your cost in the same condition they were delivered unless of course the item is found to be faulty.
 
Item is faulty after 14 days
If the product becomes defective after 14 days (or more) it will be assumed that a satisfactory acceptance of the goods has taken place. We would recommend that you stop using the goods immediately. GARDENECO may choose to repair the product by the issuing you the necessary replacement parts or chose to replace the product in its entirety or refund you. At our discretion, we may charge you for the return of a product if it the item proves not to be faulty. This does not affect your statutory rights. We would not be charged for the cost of returning a defective product.
 
Refunds
Refunds are subject to a fee covering any costs incurred by the Company, such as Administration fees, card fees, etc. Refunds are usually processed within 30 days. Before you request or arrange the return of a product, please read the information below carefully. Please note that if applicable, all parts must be checked by you, before assembly to make sure they are all there and that you are happy with the quality, once fully assembled has been commenced the purchase price cannot be refunded.
 
Special conditions regarding returns
We will not accept returns or cancellations if the product(s) have been altered by applying chemicals, paints, stains or other chemicals to surface(s). In addition to this we will not accept returns that have been customised, altered in any way other than the manufacturer’s standards. Any alterations such as these would be deemed as you using or treating the products as your own.
 
Wooden Buildings Product Returns Policy
We do not accept the return of any dispatched cabins for shortages of boards, any damage in transit or naturally split boards etc. Please note that, wood is a living product. Being a natural product wood will react to changes in atmospheric conditions. Cracks, Shakes, and Fissures may occur as timber dries, expands and contracts with changes of humidity and temperature.
 
This is perfectly natural and does not affect the integrity of the timber or of the structure it is used in. Despite technical drying methods it is, nonetheless, impossible to completely prevent some degree of warping and the formation of resin and cracks, especially on the outside surfaces.
 
11) Warranties and guarantee
Your statutory rights are not affected by these conditions.
 
We work alongside our suppliers and retailers who offer their own product warranties and guarantees. These vary and our listings will generally show what warranty or guarantee applies to the product. Log Cabin Warranty
Subject to proper installation and normal residential use.
Generally Log Cabins carry a 10 year warranty on all Pressure Treated Wooden component parts against fungal decay and damage by insects. All other timbers carry a 10 year warranty as long as they have been treated with a quality preserver and treated annually.
 
Timber is a natural product. Cracks, Shakes, and Fissures may occur as timber dries; this is a normal process and does not affect the overall strength and durability of the timber. The timber will change colour over time and may also contain Knots and Knot Holes. These are not covered by the warranty as these naturally occur in all pressure treated wood.
 
GardenEco reserves the right to examine photographs of products claimed to be defective. Products must only be returned through our normal procedure.
 
This Warranty covers the replacement of these goods and may not cover any travel expenses, lost wages, or labour costs, involved in the installation or replacement of the parts. Your warranty may be void if the products are seen to have been subjected to abuse, acts of God, negligence, adaptations or improper use.
 
12) Risk and Property
Any risk of damage to or loss of the goods shall transfer to you (the customer) at the time of delivery or, if you wrongfully fail to take delivery of the goods at the time when we or the carrier has tendered delivery of the goods. Special delivery instructions should be added when placing your order. Failure to do this may incur a re-delivery charge. For clarity the ownership will not pass you the customer until we receive the cash or cleared funds payment in full for the goods supplied to you. Good supplied to you are not for resale.
